Rending Claws

This set of retractable razorsharp claws attaches to the wearer’s fingers. If the bearer fights unarmed and extends the claws (a free action) he does slashing damage instead of bludgeoning damage with his unarmed strikes, and does not take a -4 penalty to deliver lethal damage with an unarmed strike. Because the bearer’s fingertips are covered with the crystals that house the claws (whether extended or retracted), the bearer takes a -2 penalty on Forgery, Open Lock, Sleight of Hand, and Use Rope checks.
